From counter to screen: ANSA fully digitalizes public services

The National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) is launching nine more digital services for legal entities. The initiative was carried out in partnership with the Electronic Governance Agency (AGE), with the new services available on the EVO, servicii.gov.md and MCabinet.gov.md platforms.

In this way, ANSA becomes one of the 15 public institutions in the Republic of Moldova that offer complete digital services.

By launching nine more online services, entrepreneurs can now submit applications, electronically sign and receive documents directly in their digital personal cabinet, without going to the counters.

Among the new services are the certification of veterinary medicines, the registration of technological equipment, the issuance of quality certificates for seedlings, the registration of operators in the phytosanitary and sanitary-veterinary fields, as well as the certification of seeds, fruits and vegetables, according to a press release from AGE.

AGE Director Nicoleta Colomeeț stated that the complete digitalization of ANSA services marks an important step in the construction of a modern state.

"Step by step, we are building together the most digital-friendly state in the region. This year, for ANSA we have digitized 15 new services, which bring us closer to our goal of 75% digitized services for the business environment by the end of this year", the official mentioned.

She said that, in total, the Republic of Moldova currently has over 370 digitized public services, of which 285 are intended for the business environment.

In turn, the General Director of ANSA, Radu Musteața, emphasized the importance of digital transformation for the economic environment.

"The digitization of the services provided by the Agency represents a major achievement that has a beneficial impact on the interaction with the business environment. 100% digital services accessible to citizens - an important goal achieved. This means efficiency, transparency, accessibility for citizens and avoiding queues at ANSA counters", emphasized Radu Musteața.

The services were developed on the Electronic Services Development Platform (PDSE), which integrates the government infrastructures MPay, MSign and MDocs, ensuring the delivery of documents directly to MCabinet.

According to AGE, the advantages for entrepreneurs include the speed of processing applications, 24/7 accessibility, data security, automatic notifications on the status of the application and full traceability of documents.
