PSG 3-3 Strasbourg: Six-goal thriller sees champions held at home

Paris St-Germain (PSG) and Strasbourg played out a six-goal thriller in the opening match of Ligue 1's eighth round on Friday.
The home side took the lead in the sixth minute when Bradley Barcola converted from close range following a fine pass with the outside of the boot from Désiré Doué.
The Alsatians equalised in the 26th minute with a superb header from Argentine Joaquín Panichelli. He rose to meet a cross from Guéla Doué, Désiré’s older brother, and beat Strasbourg keeper Lucas Chevalier with a perfectly placed shot.
Strasbourg then went into the break ahead (2-1) after Diego Moreira, a Belgian player of Portuguese descent, scored their second.
Manager Liam Rosenior's side doubled their lead early in the second half when Panichelli scored his second, a minute into the restart, following another sublime assist from Moreira.
PSG responded immediately when Désiré Doué was fouled in the box by Belgian goalkeeper Mike Penders. At the insistence of manager Luis Enrique, the resulting penalty was taken by Gonçalo Ramos, and the Portuguese forward scored.
The Parisian side's persistence paid off in the 79th minute when Senny Mayulu scored the equaliser.
The draw sees PSG remain top of the table, a point ahead of Strasbourg. Marseille can go first, however, if they win their home match against Le Havre.
