Consumption data from gas meters are collected exclusively by the distribution operators in the territory. In cases where reading is not possible, consumption is estimated based on the historical monthly average, with the differences being automatically adjusted in the next bill. The details are made by SA "Energocom", which took over the natural gas supply services starting this September.

If a consumer believes that the bill is incorrect, the data must be verified by the distributor. Confirmed errors are corrected later, Energocom states. The company emphasizes that it cannot unilaterally modify consumption data.

At the same time, the company recalls the difference between the roles of the two entities: Energocom purchases and supplies natural gas, while the distributor reads the meters, maintains the network and delivers the gas to consumers.

We recall that Energocom began issuing bills for gas consumption on October 6. The company states that the billing process remains unchanged.

"The bills will reach you by mail or email, exactly as it has happened so far", the company informs.

For correct billing, consumers are urged to present the meter readings on the day they make payments.

Additional information about the transmission of indices, consumption history and online payments can be found on the website www.energocom.md or by calling 1304.
