Following the incident, a 68-year-old man, the owner of the apartment, suffered burns to his head, while a 17-year-old girl from a neighboring apartment sustained contusions. Both individuals were transported to the Florești district hospital and are in stable condition.

IGSU intervention teams evacuated 51 people from the block, including 11 children, to mitigate any further risks. Initial assessments indicate that the explosion destroyed the walls and windows of the apartment where it occurred and partially damaged the windows of the upper-floor apartments.

The IGSU General Staff was established to coordinate the emergency response. The Florești district Emergency Situations Commission will decide where displaced residents will be temporarily accommodated and assess whether the building's structure poses a danger to its occupants.

The exact cause of the explosion is still under investigation by specialists.
