BREAKING NEWS | The Prime Minister-designate announced three more future ministers for Finance, Economy, and Reintegration

Alexandru Munteanu, the candidate for the position of Prime Minister, has announced three additional names for potential deputy prime ministers or ministers in his future government. The candidates are being considered for the roles of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Minister of Finance, and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization.
On the morning of Monday, October 27, Alexandru Munteanu announced via his Facebook page that the following individuals have been proposed for key governmental positions:
- Valeriu Chiveri for the role of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration.
- Eugen Osmochescu for Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization.
- Andrian Gavriliță for Minister of Finance.
Valeriu Chiveri is a career diplomat who recently completed his term as Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Ukraine, a position he held for the past 4 years.
Eugen Osmochescu is an expert with over 25 years of experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies, policies, and institutional reforms to enhance economic competitiveness. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with international organizations such as the World Bank, European Union institutions, the OECD, and CEFTA, contributing to significant projects in areas like sustainable development, investment, digitalization, governance, and innovation.
Andrian Gavriliță has over 20 years of experience in the economic sector. He possesses extensive expertise in public policies and international affairs. His responsibilities will include modernizing the financial sector and promoting the sustainable development of the economy, as stated by the designated Prime Minister.
We note that Alexandru Munteanu, on Sunday, October 26, also posted on his Facebook page the first three potential Cabinet ministers he would propose to Parliament for investiture.
Thus, the rector of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) "Nicolae Testemițanu", Emil Ceban, was proposed for the position of Minister of Health, the current Secretary General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vladislav Cojuhari - Minister of Justice, and the political advisor in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Dorin Recean, the journalist Cristian Jardan - for the position of Minister of Culture.
We recall that, on October 24, President Maia Sandu designated, by presidential decree, economist Alexandru Munteanu as a candidate for the position of Prime Minister, at the proposal of the parliamentary faction of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), which also has a majority in the new Legislative.
According to PAS leaders, the new Government could be inaugurated by the end of this week.
