Traffic fines caught on camera – now available in MCabinet

Drivers in the Republic of Moldova can now check for any violations recorded by road traffic surveillance cameras through MCabinet. This platform provides detailed information, including the date and location of the violation, along with photos of the vehicle involved. Access to this service will begin on October 27, as announced by the General Inspectorate of Police.

Reports automatically generated by road monitoring systems are available in the "Violations" section in mcabinet.gov.md.

By accessing this data, drivers can gain a better understanding of the circumstances surrounding their violations. This allows them to analyze their own driving behavior and avoid future infractions, ultimately promoting greater responsibility and road discipline.

Drivers are encouraged to log in to their virtual personal account using their electronic signature. It’s advisable to periodically check their photo reports, whether out of curiosity or as a precaution, to ensure there are no violations recorded against them.

If a traffic ticket is issued, drivers can pay the fine through the EVO app using a Mastercard. They can receive 10% cashback if the payment is made within the legal deadline.

The General Inspectorate of Police has announced that this initiative is part of the Electronic Government Agency's efforts to promote digital transformation and improve citizens' access to public data and services online.

This implementation aligns with the goals outlined in the Digital Transformation Strategy 2023-2030 and follows the digitalization policies set forth by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization.
