PM-designate unveils three new ministers; current cabinet member will head State Chancellery

Prime Minister-designate Alexandru Munteanu has announced his proposals for the positions of Minister of the Environment, Minister of Labor and Social Protection, and the future Secretary General of the State Chancellery.
In a message published on his Facebook page, Alexandru Munteanu stated that Natalia Plugaru, an expert in the field of social policies and the protection of vulnerable people, is proposed to take over the leadership of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
At the same time, Gheorghe Hajder, currently State Secretary at the Ministry of Environment, is proposed for designation as Minister of Environment.
“I thank Alexei Buzu (current acting Minister of Labor and Social Protection - n.r.) for accepting to take over the position of Secretary General of the State Chancellery. Together, we will ensure that each institution will work efficiently, in the service of the people, to implement the necessary reforms and to advance on our path to accession to the European Union”, stated the designated Prime Minister.
Alexandru Munteanu wanted to specify that the people proposed to take over the positions in the future Government are "professionals with solid experience in their fields of activity".
We note that, so far, Alexandru Munteanu has also presented on Facebook nine members of the future Government that he will propose to Parliament.
The other six candidates announced in the last two days are Vladislav Cojuhari, proposed for the position of Minister of Justice, Emil Ceban - for the position of Minister of Health, Cristian Jardan - Minister of Culture, Valeriu Chiveri - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Eugen Osmochescu - Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization and Andrian Gavriliță - proposed for the position of Minister of Finance.
The candidate designated for the position of Prime Minister is organizing, in these days, public consultations with representatives from different fields, in order to finalize his government program.
The Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, announced that the new Government of the Republic of Moldova could be inaugurated by Parliament on Friday, October 31.
