Three Moldovan students to receive scholarships from Romania’s Royal Family

The Royal Family of Romania has awarded royal distinctions to various individuals and institutions from both Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Additionally, three students from the Republic of Moldova will receive excellence scholarships from the Royal Family of Romania.
The award ceremony was held on Wednesday, October 29, in the Hall of Honor at Peleș Royal Castle.
The “Queen Maria” scholarship was awarded to Ionela Solovei, a fifth-year student at the State University of Moldova (USM) in the Faculty of History and Philosophy.
The “Queen Ana” scholarship was awarded to Irina Podlesnova, a sixth-year student at the Technical University of Moldova, while the “King Mihai I” scholarship went to Mihai Untilă, also a sixth-year student at the Technical University of Moldova.
"Student Ionela Solovei from the Faculty of History and Philosophy took part in the Royal Scholarships award ceremony hosted by the Royal House of Romania. We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners! We are proud of the achievements of the students at Moldova State University, which bring us recognition and honor worldwide," stated Moldova State University in a Facebook post.
During the event, Her Majesty the Custodian of the Crown conferred the Order of the Crown of Romania at the rank of Knight upon Victor Chirilă, the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Bucharest.
“On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Queen Maria of Romania, Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown, awarded me the Order of the Crown of Romania in the rank of Knight. This distinction is a tremendous honor for me. I am incredibly grateful to Her Majesty Margareta for this meaningful symbolic gesture,” declared Victor Chirilă.

His Majesty bestowed the High Patronage of the Palace of Culture in Iași to the National Museum Complex "Moldova."
Following the ceremony, the honored guests and decorated personalities attended a reception hosted by His Majesty in the Concert Hall of Peleș Castle.
In addition to His Majesty, the Custodian of the Crown, Prince Radu, Princess Elena, and Princess Sofia were also present.
