The Ișnovăț River area in Ialoveni is being redeveloped into a modern recreation zone
The revitalization works of the Ișnovăț River area in the city of Ialoveni are nearing completion, and the city's residents will soon benefit from a modern, clean and safe urban space, intended for recreation and outdoor activities. The project, financed by the Government of the Republic of Moldova through the Regional Development Agency (ADR) Centru, is estimated at almost 16 million lei and is carried out from the sources of the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL).
Currently, the final works are underway to arrange pedestrian alleys, install modern benches and arrange a recreational area that promises to become one of the favorite relaxation spots for the residents of Ialoveni, according to a press release from ADR Centru.
The project also included the arrangement of three parking lots, the construction of modern sidewalks, the creation of a bicycle path, as well as the paving of the road connecting Basarabia str. and Iurie Gagarin str. - thus facilitating access to educational institutions in the area, such as the "Petre Ștefănucă" Lyceum and the "Regina Maria" Kindergarten.
An important component of the project is the connection of the new revitalized area with the Green Theater in Ialoveni, another space previously rehabilitated through a project implemented by ADR Centru. This connection, achieved through a pedestrian area and a bicycle path, creates an urban corridor, which transforms a once degraded area into a living, attractive and functional space.
