Valeriu Chiveri, the new Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, advocates for the gradual reintegration of the Transnistrian region into the legal, economic, financial, customs, health, educational, and information systems of the Republic of Moldova. He emphasizes that this process is extensive and complex, requiring the involvement of the entire society.

"Our citizens live in the Transnistrian region, and it is essential to provide them with public services just like those available to citizens on the right bank of the Nistru. The Republic of Moldova is undergoing a broad process of reforms and adjustments to meet European standards. It is vital for the entire country, including the Transnistrian region, to be part of this space of peace and prosperity," says Valeriu Chiveri.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration emphasized the significant, if not crucial, role of the European Union in establishing an international civilian mission to replace the current negotiation format.

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu also reaffirmed the Government's position on the need for a peaceful resolution to the Transnistrian conflict. During a Parliament session in which he sought a vote for the investiture of the Government, Munteanu stated that economic integration is the best solution and that any use of force should be excluded.
