Citizens of the Republic of Kosovo will be able to receive visas to enter the Republic of Moldova
Deputies of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) developed a draft law by which citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, not recognized by the Moldovan authorities, will be able to receive visas to enter the Republic of Moldova, Radio Free Europe reports.
The main reason for developing this project would be the summit of the European Political Community, which will take place on June 1 in the Republic of Moldova. The delegation from Kosovo is also part of this community.
According to the draft law, holders of Kosovar passports could obtain short-term electronic visas to participate in international forums organized by the Republic of Moldova.
The authors of the draft law invoke other arguments: "adapting the legislation to the new social-objective realities, existing at the international level" and the right to free movement.
