Director of Moldsilva Agency resigned

Victor Durbală, the director of the Moldsilva Agency, has resigned. He submitted his resignation on November 4, but did not provide any reasons for this decision.
"I was honoured to work alongside dedicated individuals who protect and care for Moldova's forests every day. I am pleased that, together, we have made the forestry sector more united, respected, and visible. Remain united and take pride in being foresters—a profession that nurtures life, provides clean air, and fosters hope," Durbală wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday, November 6.
Victor Durbală is a doctor of social sciences and a master's student in biomedicine and ecology. He has been in his current position since April 2024.
Before this role, Durbală served as the deputy head of the Ghidighici Forestry District within the Chisinau Forestry Enterprise. He also held the position of mayor of Ghidighici.
