Dorin Recean, about the protesters: "Instead of working, they take money to cause destabilization"
Prime Minister Dorin Recean reacted to the protests organized by the Movement for the People Party. The Prime Minister suggested the demonstrators to work, instead of taking money and blocking roads. The prime minister is confident that, following the justice reform, the organizers of the protests and their illegal financiers will be brought to justice.
"They (protesters - n.r.) had better come and work, because if you talk to the farmers, it doesn't matter from which district, everyone says that they are not human. That is, there is work, but there is no labor force, and here everyone is mourning. Instead of coming to work, they take money to come to Chisinau to cause destabilization", said Dorin Recean. â The PM also said that the social insurance system should be intervened "so that we don't allow those who are sick to live on the backs of those who work".
*"We must clarify and, as a result of the justice reform, reach the point where the Shor group, their supporters and illegal financiers, including those from Russia, are punished, held accountable, and imprisoned, because there is their place and then everyone will go back to their jobs. We should not blame these people. The most important thing is justice, to do what they have to do, to make these people responsible, to stay in prison and the money - recovered", added the prime minister. We remind that today, March 16, the leaders of the Movement for the People held a protest in front of the Parliament to ask the authorities to pay the bills for the cold period of the year.
The police announce that, since the beginning of the meeting, 24 participants, including 15 unaccompanied minors, have been taken to the inspectorate for identification. One of the people was wanted. Also, a man was detained with a knife on him.
