European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos will pay a two-day working visit to Chisinau

Marta Kos, the European Commissioner for Enlargement, is scheduled to visit Chisinau for two days from November 10 to 11, as announced by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova.
During the visit, the European official will meet with representatives of the Moldovan authorities and participate in events to present the conclusions of the Enlargement Report for the Republic of Moldova, which was recently published by the European Commission. This document evaluates the progress our country has made in its bid to join the European Union and outlines reform priorities for the coming period.
The agenda also includes meetings with the leaders of the political parties represented in the newly elected Parliament following the September 28, 2025 elections. The discussions will focus on continuing reforms in areas such as the rule of law, justice, the economy, and alignment with European standards.
This marks Marta Kos's fourth official visit to the Republic of Moldova. The last visit occurred from September 3 to 5, during which the Commissioner discussed strengthening democratic institutions and accelerating reforms in the context of the accession process.
In a recent statement following the publication of the Annual Enlargement Package, Marta Kos noted that the Republic of Moldova has made the greatest progress over the last year among the candidate states for accession, despite facing hybrid threats and attempts at destabilization.
