Six people, including two children, injured in accident in Sângerei

On Sunday at approximately 5:45 p.m., six people, including two children aged one and four, were taken to the hospital after a road accident near the village of Cubolta, Sângerei district.

According to Lilia Harea, press officer of the Sângerei Police Inspectorate, a Volkswagen Sharan, driven by a 38-year-old man, allegedly failed to yield at a "Give Way" sign and entered a priority road. As a result, the Volkswagen was struck on its side by a Skoda Octavia driven by a 50-year-old man.

In the Volkswagen, there were the driver, his 38-year-old wife, their two minor children, and a 65-year-old woman. In the Skoda, there were the driver and a 54-year-old passenger.

Following the collision, all people involved were transported to the hospital for medical care.

Both drivers were breathalyzed, and the results indicated 0.00 mg/l of alcohol in their exhaled air.

The police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.
