Kharkiv drone strike: 4 dead, 13 injured in massive attack

Four civilians were killed and at least 13 others, including two children, were injured following a massive drone attack launched on the city of Kharkiv on the evening of November 23.
The drones struck the Shevchenkivskyi and Saltivskyi districts, causing significant destruction and triggering multiple fires.
Three residential blocks and an infrastructure facility were engulfed in flames. Teams from the State Emergency Service (SES) were deployed to the scene, accompanied by bomb disposal experts and psychologists to support the affected population.
According to Ukrainian authorities, the strikes destroyed several buildings, and rescue operations continued throughout the night to locate any potential victims trapped under the rubble.
"We are conducting door-to-door checks because the destruction is considerable. The priority now is to ensure that no one remains trapped under the debris," said Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, via Telegram.
Attacks were also reported in northern Ukraine. The border area of the Chernihiv region was targeted once again by Russian drones, striking the village of Zhadove in the Semenivka community (Novhorod-Siverskyi district) overnight. A UAV destroyed a local fire station, a residential house, and an outbuilding.

The fire caused by the strikes was extinguished by State Emergency Service units. According to preliminary data, no casualties were reported in the Chernihiv incident.
