Lionel Messi and Inter Miami have secured their spot in the Major League Soccer play-off semifinals.

The Argentinian star was once again imperial on the pitch, delivering a masterclass with one goal and three assists in the 4-0 victory over FC Cincinnati. Messi notably scored a rare header goal—a sight seldom seen from the iconic forward.

In the second half, Messi turned provider, helping his teammates find the net. Mateo Silvetti scored one goal, while Tadeo Allende netted a brace (two goals).

Inter Miami has thus qualified for the Major League Soccer play-off semifinals, where they are set to face New York City FC. NYCFC earned their spot after defeating Philadelphia Union 1-0, thanks to a goal scored by Maximiliano Moralez.
