A Ukrainian delegation is traveling to the United States to discuss President Donald Trump's proposed peace plan, according to the Astra publication, which cites Bloomberg and a source familiar with the situation.

The negotiating team from Kiev includes Rustem Umerov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, and Serhiy Kislitsa, the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine. An anonymous source reported that the Kiev delegation will meet in Florida with the U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law.

Additionally, journalist Oliver Carroll from "The Economist" has stated, citing his own sources, that Kirill Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, is also traveling to the U.S. It is likely that he will lead the Ukrainian delegation in the negotiations. According to Carroll, this announcement will be made later, as noted by Astra.
