False bomb alert in Chisinau: The drunk perpetrator, detained by the police
The Buiucani Police Inspectorate was alerted last night, around 18:40, that an explosive was placed on Liviu Deleanu Str. in Chisinau. The call was made by a drunk man.
All the specialized services intervened at the scene, which surrounded and checked the area. Explosives were not found. Shortly after, the law enforcement officers established the identity of the caller. It is about a 55-year-old man from Chisinau. He was in a state of advanced intoxication, having 0.97 mg/l of alcohol in his breath. The man was detained for 72 hours. A criminal case was opened on this case for knowingly false communication about the act of terrorism.
