The number of cases of viruses, flu and COVID-19 in schools and kindergartens is decreasing
More than 8,500 cases of viruses, flu and COVID-19 were registered in schools and kindergartens in the country during the past week, according to the data presented today by the Ministry of Education and Research, which states that the figures are decreasing compared to the period 6-13 March, when more than 9,000 infections were reported.
Thus, of the total number of cases, over 3,800 were certified in kindergartens and over 4,500 in primary and secondary education institutions. Also, during one week, 174 pedagogues and 68 auxiliary employees of educational institutions fell ill.
Also, the number of cases of infection with COVID-19 decreased, with 136 cases of infection being registered.
