LIVE // President Maia Sandu's statements after the meeting of the Supreme Security Council
The president of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu gives a briefing after the meeting of the Supreme Security Council.
*"We have convened the CSS for Monday and there we will discuss extraordinary measures, starting from the real situation we are facing. One thing we requested from the Parliament is to create the Anti-corruption Court, a specialized court, which will deal, in particular, with grand corruption, but also with judicial corruption. As long as we have corruption in the judiciary, our efforts to fight corruption are in vain," said Maia Sandu.
We remind you that, on Friday, March 17, the General Assembly of Judges, convened after a four-year hiatus, decided to postpone the appointment of the four permanent members and one substitute judge in the Superior Council of Magistracy to April 28.
