Mariah Carey will perform at Winter Olympics opening ceremony

The spirit of the Olympic Games has been rekindled in Milan, Italy, with the opening of the largest official store dedicated to the Milan/Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. Located in Piazza del Duomo, the store spans 1,200 square meters. Visitors can purchase a variety of items, including T-shirts, sweaters, training suits, and children's toys, all featuring the symbols of next year's Winter Olympics. The store also showcases the official mascots, Tina and Milo, two playful ermines. The store will remain open until March 21, 2026.
The Piazza del Duomo in Milan is transforming into a prominent international media center, with leading television studios from around the world establishing their presence here.
Additionally, the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics is scheduled for Milan on February 6, 2026, at San Siro Stadium. Among the stars performing at the event will be American singer Mariah Carey.
The 56-year-old diva will kick off the Games with a celebration centered around the theme of "Harmony." The show aims to highlight the connection between music and sport, promoting values such as inclusion, respect, and cultural exchange.
