'Come Home for Christmas’ 2025: Ministry of Culture announces over 40 shows across the country
The Ministry of Culture is launching the "Come Home for Christmas" campaign for 2025, featuring over 40 musical performances across various locations in the Republic of Moldova. These performances will take place between December 18, 2025, and January 15, 2026, and will include participation from both national ensembles and independent artists.
According to the official press release, the Ministry of Culture has launched the cultural campaign "Come Home for Christmas." This initiative aims to provide the public from all regions of the country with a diverse artistic program dedicated to the winter holidays.
"The Ministry of Culture launches the campaign 'Come Home for Christmas,' which will feature over 40 musical performances in various locations across the country, organized between December 18, 2025, and January 15, 2026," states the press release.
The program will showcase nine established ensembles and bands, including "Joc," "Lăutarii," "Kadinja," "Fluieraș," "Mugurel," "Folclor," "Millenium," the National Youth Orchestra, and independent artists. These groups will perform concerts in several cities and villages, with the aim of promoting traditions and national culture during the winter holidays.
Additionally, the central authorities encourage local public administrations to engage in expanding the cultural program by organizing thematic activities such as craft fairs, exhibitions, concerts featuring local artists, and interactive workshops.
The first concert of the campaign will take place on December 18 in the village of Sărata-Galbenă, Hâncești district. In the following days, performances will be held in various localities, including the Hâncești municipality, the town of Sângerei, the Ștefan Vodă district, and the village of Cuhurestii de Sus, Florești district.
