Moldova 1 TV journalist Doina Stimpovschi wins award at ‘Journalists of the Year 2025’ Gala

Journalist Doina Stimpovschi received the Golden Apple award for the best show at the "Journalists of the Year 2025" Gala, held on December 18. She was recognized for her work in producing and presenting the show "Tributes: Applause on the Open Stage" which airs on Moldova 1 TV.

Doina Stimpovschi expressed that her favorite part of creating the show is preparing each episode. This process involves thorough research and uncovering the stories that will be shared with the audience.

"I want to thank the team with whom I produce the show 'Tribute': Alina Matei, who was the producer of the first season, and Daniela Postica, my current colleague. Together, we work on this show, and I appreciate all my colleagues. 'Tribute' is a project that means a lot to me, and I am very grateful for this award," stated Doina Stimpovschi.

Launched last year, the show "Tribute" has been well-received for its authentic dialogues and its ability to highlight prominent personalities in culture, art, and social life.

The recognition received affirms the project's editorial impact and its role in promoting quality journalism within public television.

Journalists of the Year 2025:

The "Journalists of the Year" Gala has been organized by the Center for Independent Journalism (CJI) and the Committee for Freedom of the Press since 1995, as part of the Chisinau Press Club.

The primary goal of this event is to support and encourage journalists in producing high-quality journalism that meets international professional standards.
