Academic excellence recognized at the 2025 Education Gala
Students, teachers, and mentors from Chișinău who achieved outstanding results were honored at the 2025 Education Gala. They received diplomas, cash prizes, vouchers, and sets of books for their accomplishments in the field. The thrilled winners expressed that their journey to this moment was long and required significant hard work, perseverance, and dedication.
The following students were nominated: Bogdan Dadu, from the "Mircea Eliade" Theoretical Lyceum.
Bogdan Dadu is among the students awarded the "Olympian of the Year 2025" diploma. He has been participating in school olympiads since middle school and has consistently performed exceptionally well.
"I am happy and proud of this result. I worked hard, and I want to thank my parents for their support and my teachers. I have participated in several olympiads and reached the republican stage in many of them. Mathematics was probably the hardest subject, as there is little room for luck in that field," says Bogdan Dadu.
Additionally, some students received diplomas for being "Graduates with a grade of 10."
"I am thrilled because achieving this result required a lot of work and many sleepless nights. In the ninth-grade exams, which consist of three subjects, I received 10," he adds.
Teachers and mentors were awarded diplomas in recognition of their efforts in preparing students for the Olympiads and exams.
"This is about preparing the Olympic team for the Romanian language and literature. We worked hard during this time, and I believe the most important aspect was the mutual trust we established. There were several stages, and different students participated, but for the Republican Olympiad, we prepared two students," says Veronica Postolache, a teacher of Romanian language and literature.
"We received this diploma as a result of the Remedial Program, which is an honor for us. We worked with students who had lower pre-test scores for two months. By the time of the graduation exam, the improvement was significant. We focused on 15 students," says mathematics teacher Ludmila Cojocari.
The Excellence in Education Gala honors the achievements of students, teachers, and educational institutions in Chisinau.
