The Prime Minister of Romania, Nicolae Ciucă, comes to Chisinau: "We reconfirm the support that Romania will continue to give to the Republic of Moldova for its European path"

The Romanian Prime Minister, Nicolae Ionel Ciucă, pays an official visit to the Republic of Moldova. In the morning, the Romanian Prime Minister will be received by President Maia Sandu, after which he will meet his Moldovan counterpart, Dorin Recean, and the head of the Moldovan Parliament, Igor Grosu.

On the eve of his visit to the Republic of Moldova, Nicolae Ciucă reconfirmed Romania's support for the Republic of Moldova on the path to European integration.

"It is a visit through which we reconfirm the strengthening of bilateral relations and, of course, it is a visit through which we reconfirm the support that Romania will continue to give to the Republic of Moldova on its European path," Nicolae Ciucă said on Wednesday at the Romanian government meeting, quoted by Agerpres.

In Chisinau, the Romanian PM, accompanied by a government delegation, will meet with the country's top leadership, after which he will hold a press conference with Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

On 1 March, Prime Minister Dorin Recean visited Romania and the Romanian authorities reconfirmed their strong support for the Republic of Moldova.

Also today, Romanian and Moldovan parliamentarians are meeting in Chisinau for a joint meeting of the legal committees.
