Priorities in the field of social-economic protection of employees were discussed at a meeting of Prime Minister Dorin Recean with members of the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova (CNSM). The Chief Executive stressed that the authorities remain focused on increasing productivity, encouraging honest work and raising the level of wages in the public sector, stressing that trade unions can become a partner of the Government in this endeavour.

We want employers to invest in employees' training and guarantee their rights. It is in the interest of society that everyone can realise their economic and social rights," said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
For their part, trade union representatives referred to several issues of importance to employees, including the need to raise minimum wages, but also to increase pay in health and education.
They also discussed the fight against undeclared work, the importance of activating the Commission for consultations and collective bargaining at branch level, and the need to abolish the state registration fee that trade unions are obliged to pay.
