A new Member of Parliament. The Constitutional Court validated his mandate
The Constitutional Court has validated the mandate of a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, after examining today the proposal of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC). As a result, Gheorghe Cojoc, substitute candidate on the list of the political party "Party of Action and Solidarity" is the new member of Parliament.
The mandate of MP became vacant following the resignation of Mija Artur from the same party.
He has been appointed Secretary General of the Government. The appointment was proposed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean and was approved by the cabinet of ministers at the government meeting on 17 February.
