Ialoveni’s family doctors’ department was modernized with nearly 2 million lei in investments
The family medicine department at the Ialoveni Health Centre has been modernised to provide better conditions for both doctors and patients. The center is now equipped with a biochemical analyzer, a laboratory device that processes blood tests quickly. The total investment for this upgrade amounts to 1.9 million lei.

The headquarters of the family doctors in Ialoveni has not undergone significant renovations since the early 2000s. However, the spaces have now been fully renovated, and both the heating and lighting systems have been updated.
"This renovation has made a big difference. I want to tell you that coming to work now feels much more uplifting. Our work has become easier, and a sense of psychological comfort has been established. Previously, we had old walls, outdated wallpaper, and worn-out furniture, which made it harder to work," says nurse Valentina Surdu.
"Now it’s really nice. I remember how bad the conditions were before, but everything has changed for the better."
"Before, the situation was quite different; nothing was done for many years. Now, it's beautiful—when you enter, it looks like a hospital, and it’s clean," she adds.
The Ialoveni Health Center has also been equipped with a high-performance biochemical analyzer worth over 350,000 lei. As a result, lab tests can now be completed three times faster.
"With the old 20-year-old analyzer, we conducted investigations from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Now, with the new analyzer, we can complete all biochemical analyses in just four hours," explains Feodor Sinegur, head of the laboratory at Ialoveni Health Center.
"Patients benefit from faster results, and the medical staff is not overworked. The renovation of the ward was also a crucial project, as the medical staff urgently needed decent working conditions," says Irina Ursuleac, director of the Ialoveni Healthcare Center.

The department employs 15 doctors and 25 nurses, serving approximately 20,000 citizens. The project to modernize the Family Center was financed by the National Health Insurance Company, with part of the expenses covered by the Ialoveni District Council.
