Tragedy in Chisinau: a 24-year-old driver and his passenger died in a road accident
Two young people tragically lost their lives in a serious road accident on Dacia Boulevard in Chisinau during the night from Saturday to Sunday. According to police reports, a car collided with a tow truck that was parked on the side of the road. The impact proved fatal for both the driver and the passenger.
According to preliminary data, a Volkswagen car driven by a 24-year-old man crashed into a stationary tow truck.
The impact had devastating consequences. Both the driver and his passenger—a 23-year-old woman sitting in the back seat—died at the scene.
"Following the impact, both the driver and his passenger, a 23-year-old woman in the back seat who was thrown from the car, died on the spot due to the injuries they sustained", reads the law enforcement statement.
