The government's DOR programme is back in a new edition
The State Chancellery's Diaspora Relations Office has launched applications for participation in the DOR Diaspora Government Programme Origins Returns. This year, the 11th edition will take place from August 8 to 17, 2023, with the participation of 100 children and young people - 80 from the diaspora and 20 from the Republic of Moldova.
The aim of the programme is to raise awareness among children and young people from the second generation of migrants about preserving cultural identity, promoting national traditions and values.
The programme will last 10 days and the children will participate in cultural activities, excursions, workshops, moderated by folk craftsmen.
Participants can register for the programme until 21 April and the results will be announced on 28 April.
Participation in the DOR is free of charge. All expenses are covered by the state budget, participants only bear the cost of transport to/from the Republic of Moldova.
