Moldovan Government names veteran journalist Daniela Crudu as official spokesperson

Daniela Crudu, a prominent presenter for the public broadcaster Moldova 1, has officially transitioned from journalism to government communications.
She will serve as the spokesperson for the Government of the Republic of Moldova. Crudu announced the appointment during the final edition of the morning show "Bună Dimineața" on January 30.
A decade of media expertise
With over ten years of experience in mass media, Crudu served as a presenter and coordinating editor at Teleradio-Moldova. Since 2013, she has been a leading face of the national morning show, establishing herself as a trusted public figure.
Throughout her career, she has managed complex editorial content and moderated high-level interviews with government officials and civil society leaders.
Institutional and legal background
Crudu notably headed the Moldovan delegation for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2024 and 2025. In this role, she managed institutional partnerships and international media relations.
She holds a degree in Law and is multilingual, with professional proficiency in Romanian, English, French, and Russian.
