The "Șor" party could be left without a parliamentary tribune. Igor Grosu: "We will take all necessary actions"

The "Șor" party could be deprived of its parliamentary platform for spreading falsehoods. This is the reaction of Speaker Igor Grosu, after last Friday, the deputy of the "Șor" party, Marina Tauber, came out to the press gallery of the legislature and said that the government was preparing a military intervention in the Transnistrian region. Thus, Tauber updated an old Russian propaganda thesis, which has not caught on so far.

"Ten thousand uniforms of the national police and ten thousand uniforms of the Moldovan army have been sent to Romania. The purpose of this mission is the participation of the international contingent in military actions on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. Three thousand coffins have been ordered from a number of Moldovan enterprises. These data were received from several sources of the international special services", declared on 24 March the deputy of the "Șor" party, Marina Tauber.

The "Șor" party has been recognised as an instrument of Russia on the international stage, the leader of the party, convicted in the bank fraud case, is in Israel, where he maintains an online political communication regime.

"We will discuss this at the meeting of the permanent bureau. Surely what the representatives of this organised criminal group, a so-called political party, are doing is nothing but destabilising the political situation in Moldova in partnership with their friends in the Kremlin. All of us, not only the Parliament, but also other state institutions, will take the necessary actions", said Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu.

According to political analyst Anatol Țăranu, the statements made by Tauber are very serious and are directed against President Maia Sandu. Because they most likely had an impact on a certain category of the population, Țăranu argues that the competent institutions should investigate the case.

"Marina Tauber must answer for this slander," said political analyst Anatol Țăranu.

The government has repeatedly explained that the main goal now is to maintain stability in Transnistria. On the other hand, the Russian rhetoric is that Moldova would like to intervene by force on the left bank of the Dniester. Last year, there were several terrorist attacks in the Transnistrian region. On the very second day of Easter, the separatist security headquarters was blown up.
