Moldova launches EuroQuiz 2026 to strengthen European values among youth

The Bureau for European Integration, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research, has officially launched EuroQuiz 2026. This national competition invites students in grades 9–12 to demonstrate their knowledge of the European Union for a chance to win a study trip to Brussels.
A strategic educational initiative
The competition aims to deepen the understanding of Moldova’s European path while fostering civic engagement. Beyond a mere academic test, EuroQuiz challenges students to explore European history, geography, institutional frameworks, and the diverse cultural tapestry of the continent.
Competition structure and deadlines
Teams of four to six students, guided by a coordinating teacher, are eligible to compete. Registration is currently open and will conclude on April 2. The competition follows a rigorous multi-stage selection process to ensure merit-based results.
Internal School Rounds: April 6–10.
District Level Competitions: April 24.
National Grand Final: May 8.
The ultimate prize
The top-ranking team at the national level will travel to Brussels, the continent’s decision-making heart. Students will engage directly with European institutions and explore the symbolic landmarks of the EU capital, gaining first-hand experience of the environment where Moldova’s future is being shaped.
Interested participants are encouraged to review the official regulations and submit their applications via the formal registration portal.
