The Republic of Moldova and Japan will conclude an agreement on the promotion and mutual protection of investments
The Government of the Republic of Moldova will conclude an agreement with the Government of Japan regarding the promotion and mutual protection of investments. At today's meeting, the members of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Committee positively approved the initiation of negotiations in this regard.
The objective of the agreement is the development of economic cooperation in relation to the investments of individuals or legal entities of the two states, the stimulation of the flow of capital and the intensification of existing economic relations. After ratification, the agreement will be in force for 10 years, with the possibility of being automatically extended for successive five-year periods.
