Trump warns Iran of "total destruction" as US moves third aircraft carrier to region
President Donald Trump issued a severe warning to Tehran on Saturday, stating the United States is prepared to strike Iran "very hard." The American leader threatened to expand military operations to include areas and groups never previously considered targets.

The statements, posted on Truth Social, follow Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s earlier remarks that his country would "never surrender" to the U.S. or Israel. However, Trump interpreted Tehran’s recent apologies to its Gulf neighbors as a sign of total capitulation under military pressure.
Target parameters expanded
Trump declared that specific locations and groups are now "marked for total destruction and a certain death." He attributed this escalation to Iran’s "bad behavior," signaling a departure from previous engagement protocols or restricted target lists.
The President claimed Iran’s diplomatic outreach to neighboring states was a direct result of relentless U.S. and Israeli pressure. "Iran is no longer the ‘tyrant of the Middle East,’ but rather the ‘LOSER OF THE MIDDLE EAST’," Trump wrote.
Regional military buildup
Tensions continue to rise as the U.S. reportedly prepares to deploy a third aircraft carrier to the region, according to Fox News. This move underscores Washington's commitment to reinforcing its deterrent posture amid the intensifying conflict.
President Pezeshkian had previously assured Gulf states that they would not be targeted unless they allowed their territory to be used for strikes against the Islamic Republic. Trump dismissed these assurances, predicting Iran’s complete collapse unless it surrenders.
