Nisporeni Business Incubator supports nearly 50 local entrepreneurs in Nisporeni
Business incubators offer essential support to entrepreneurs who are just starting out. A notable example is located in the city center of Nisporeni, where nearly 50 entrepreneurs work together under one roof. They engage in a variety of activities, including crafts, tailoring, painting, and cooking. Through their efforts, these entrepreneurs promote the region, create jobs, and contribute to the local economy's growth.

Jana Butnaru took advantage of the Business Incubator's opportunities to open a tailoring workshop. The idea came to her while she was on maternity leave.
“I have been familiar with textiles since childhood; my mother and grandmother worked with them. We primarily focus on custom orders, creating personalized items according to individual sizes. We produce textile products for homes and children's rooms. Most of our clients are local, but we also have customers from abroad, particularly from the diaspora,” says the entrepreneur.
The workshop started with two employees, who learn something new every day.
“When we create something new, we are excited to see the final result. For instance, when we design animal figures like deer, we collaborate and share ideas. We are always eager to see what our efforts will produce.”
“However, we must pay extra attention to ensure that needles do not get stuck in the mats and other materials. This is the most challenging part, as we need to be very careful to ensure the safety of children,” she adds.

On the same floor, there is a candle production workshop managed by Angela Cârchelan and her husband, painter Ion Cârchelan.
"They have reached America, Japan, India, and all of Europe. It would be beneficial for more Moldovan products to be on store shelves; there should be a quota for them," says entrepreneur Angela Cârchelan.
Residents of business incubators pay a symbolic fee for renting their premises. The savings made are invested in business development.
"They pay 30%, 50%, and 70% of the average market price. In the first year, they pay 30%, in the second year 50%, and in the third year 70% to conduct their activities within the incubators. We offer loans of up to 60,000 lei in the early years of operation since these are the most vulnerable years for starting a business," says Vitalie Lazăr, administrator of the business incubator.

There are 11 business incubators in the Republic of Moldova, hosting over 260 resident companies. The facilities provided have enabled entrepreneurs to create more than 800 jobs.
