Traffic on Dacia Boulevard in Chișinău will close this weekend for repair work

Road traffic on a section of Dacia Boulevard will close this weekend to restore the asphalt surface, according to the Chișinău City Hall.
According to municipal authorities, traffic will stop on March 14 and 15, 2026, starting at 08:00, on the section where crews will repair the road surface.
During the restrictions, public transport routes will change. Trolleybus No. 22 will run from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard to Constantin Negruzzi Boulevard, then continue along Iurii Gagarin, Decebal, and Traian boulevards, in both directions. Trolleybus No. 4 will shorten its route to Nicolae Zelinski Street, where it will turn onto Trandafirilor Street.
Authorities will also introduce a temporary trolleybus route, 4A, which will run along the following route: Dacia Boulevard, Independenței Street, Hristo Botev Street, Trandafirilor Street, Decebal Boulevard, Nicolae Zelinski Street, Hristo Botev Street, Independenței Street, and back to Dacia Boulevard.
Trolleybus No. 2 will run along the route Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, the Railway Station, Decebal Boulevard, and Traian Boulevard. Trolleybus No. 17 will divert along Traian Boulevard, Decebal Boulevard, the Railway Station, Ciuflea Street, București Street, and Ismail Street.
Trolleybus routes No. 30 and 38 will run on their usual routes. At the same time, buses on routes No. 5, 23, 19, 33, 36, 44, and 49 will travel along Dacia Boulevard without access to the lanes reserved for public transport.
In areas where crews will carry out the work, the city will set up temporary stops near the existing ones. Municipal authorities urge passengers and drivers to follow the temporary road signs.
