Ișnovăț village implements four major infrastructure projects through European Village programs

The village of Ișnovăț, located in the Criuleni district, has undergone a comprehensive modernization through four key infrastructure projects. These initiatives, funded via national development programs, have significantly upgraded educational, sanitation, and road facilities for the community's 1,100 residents.

The National Office for Regional and Local Development (ONDRL) confirmed that the works were executed under the "European Village" (Editions I and II), "European Village Express," and "Europe is Close" programs.
Educational safety and health
A primary focus was the "Greierașul" kindergarten, where a decaying roof dating back to the 1960s was completely replaced. The €36,020 (approx. 706,000 MDL) investment eliminated chronic humidity and mold, ensuring a safe environment for 50 children and 13 staff members.
Previously, the "European Village Express" program facilitated the creation of a modern recreation zone in the central park. This €20,305 (approx. 398,000 MDL) project provides a social hub for Ișnovăț and neighboring communities to host public events.

Critical utilities and mobility
Sanitation infrastructure saw a major expansion with the construction of a new pumping station. This €80,610 (approx. 1.58 million MDL) investment extended the sewage network to 87% of the village, directly benefiting over 300 households.
Furthermore, a critical 0.5-kilometer road segment was rehabilitated to improve access to the local kindergarten and support local businesses. Mayor Petru Țarigrădean emphasized that this modernization is vital for both child safety and local economic mobility.

Local impact of national funding
According to Mayor Țarigrădean, the total state investment of over 4.6 million MDL (approx. €234,690) highlights the tangible impact of government programs on rural development.
"These projects respond to the real needs of our community, proving that local development is about concrete actions that improve daily life," the Mayor stated.
