Igor Grosu leaves for an official visit to Lithuania
The Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu will go on an official visit to the Republic of Lithuania, from April 3-5, at the invitation of his counterpart from Vilnius. Thus, Igor Grosu will have meetings with the President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, the President of the Seimas, Viktorija Čmilyté-Nielsen, and the Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė.
Also, the Parliament Speaker will have discussions with the presidents of the European affairs, foreign affairs, national security and defense parliamentary committees, as well as with deputies from the Friendship Group with the Republic of Moldova of the Lithuanian Seimas. The agenda of the visit also includes meetings with the Deputy Minister of National Defense, Greta Monika Tučkute, as well as with the representatives of the international company in the field of renewable energy "Green genius". According to a press release from the Parliament, Igor Grosu will have a meeting with Moldovan citizens who live, study or work in Lithuania. The members of the parliamentary delegation include deputies Ion Babici, president of the Friendship Group with the Republic of Lithuania, and Vitali Gavrouc, member of the Human Rights and Interethnic Relations Commission.
