Trilateral meeting in Bucharest: Maia Sandu will discuss bilateral relations with President Klaus Iohannis and Chancellor Olaf Scholz

Today, in Bucharest, the head of state Maia Sandu will have a meeting with the president of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, and the chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz. According to the press across the Prut, the three state leaders will discuss bilateral relations, as well as topics of European politics, security and energy.

Also, Maia Sandu is expected at the Elisabeta Palace, where she will have a meeting with the Custodian of the Romanian Crown, Margareta.

According to the Royal House, the head of state will plant an oak tree in the garden of the Elisabeta Palace, later she will be invited to lunch. At the end of the visit, Maia Sandu will sign the Golden Book of the Elisabeta Palace, opened in 1937.

The Head of State will be accompanied by representatives of the Presidency and the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Bucharest.
