Several mayors from the north of the Republic of Moldova leave PSRM

Several mayors from the north of the country, elected on the lists of the Socialist Party of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM), leave the formation and join the Movement for the People, which also includes the Political Party "Şor".

The announcement was made by deputy Irina Lozovan, who recently left the PSRM and, respectively, the Bloc of Socialists and Communists in Parliament. The deputy claims that the same political formation is joined by two independent mayors.

Irina Lozovan and Alexandr Nesterovschi, also a former socialist, announced, after withdrawing from the PSRM, that they would launch a new party.

After these departures, the faction of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists will remain with 29 deputies in the Legislative.
