Alexandru Munteanu: "Romania is more than a partner—it’s family"

Bucharest continues to be Chisinau's primary partner, and Romania's support during times of crisis underscores the strategic nature of the relationship between the two countries, stated Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu. The Prime Minister emphasized that this cooperation is expanding through collaborative projects in the economic and energy sectors.
"In an exclusive interview with Romanian Television, the prime minister said 'For us, Romania is more than just a friendly country; it is family. When we reached out about our issues, our Romanian brothers immediately stepped in to help.' He was referring to the support provided during recent crises, including the energy crisis and the pollution of the Nistru.
The prime minister emphasized that the partnership between the two countries extends beyond politics, increasingly focusing on economic and investment collaboration. He mentioned that discussions are underway to establish a "common investment space" and a "common digital space" to promote business development and economic integration.
'We are fortunate to have many friends, and Romania is our foremost ally among all those who assist us. We are progressing toward Europe, growing, and we can accomplish much together', he added.
Recently, Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu visited Bucharest for official meetings with Romanian authorities and business leaders, aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation."
