IDF expands offensive with coordinated strikes on Iranian and Lebanese capitals

The Israeli military announced simultaneous airstrikes on the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Friday. This marks the 35th day of the current offensive conducted in strategic alignment with the United States.
Beyond the strikes on Beirut, the Israeli Air Force initiated a wide-scale wave of attacks against Iranian state infrastructure in Tehran. Military officials have not yet specified the exact nature of the targeted sites.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported over 70 strikes against targets in western and central Iran within the last 24 hours. These operations specifically targeted ballistic missile launch sites and drone facilities.
Humanitarian impact in Lebanon
The death toll in Lebanon from the ongoing air and ground offensive rose to 1,368 on Friday, with 4,138 injured. In the past 24 hours alone, 23 people were killed and 98 wounded in nationwide attacks.
Lebanese authorities report that the casualties include 125 children killed and 433 wounded. Intense bombardment continues across southern and eastern Lebanon, as well as the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Displacement and ground operations
