Exceptional concert by the "Teleradio-Moldova" Orchestra in Iași
Culture unites and inspires. The National Symphony Orchestra of the "Teleradio-Moldova" Company held an exceptional concert in Iași on Friday evening. In the Voivode Hall of the Palace of Culture, audiences enjoyed performances of works by Bach, Mozart, and the renowned composer George Enescu. This event has the potential to become a cherished tradition.
Under the direction of conductor Andrei Zapșa, the artists of the "Teleradio-Moldova" Company Symphony Orchestra captivated the audience.
"I am no stranger to music; I am a musician originally from Chișinău, but I have been living in Iași since 1995. Today, I came to listen to works by Bach, Mozart, and Enescu. It is a great joy, and behind each event, there is a dedicated team that organizes it, so I want to congratulate them on this concert."
"I came especially because my sister travelled to Iași just for the concert. So, are you a big fan of classical music? Yes, this is a wonderful opportunity for us to enjoy it together."
The concert was organized with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Moldova in Iași, continuing a series of joint projects aimed at engaging the public on both sides of the Prut.
"Iași has a very special vibe and significance for my return, especially artistically. That's why I am thrilled that we have the opportunity to present a program for the audience in Iași. Even though we speak the same language on both banks of the Prut, music is a universal language, and I believe that helps us connect," emphasized Andrei Zapșa, conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of the "Teleradio-Moldova" Company.
"We organized this show with free admission so that everyone can enjoy a high-quality performance, as the repertoire is truly unique. We hope to establish this tradition, aiming to have a symphonic music show at least once a year in the cultural heart of Romania, right here in Iași," said Ion Coșer, Consul General of the Republic of Moldova in Iași.
The National Symphony Orchestra of the "Teleradio-Moldova" Company is one of the most important and prestigious musical groups in the Republic of Moldova. It is well-known for promoting both national and universal culture, often participating in remarkable events, studio recordings, and international concerts.
