Deputies meet today in plenary session. Among the projects included on the agenda is the VAT refund program for agricultural producers.
Beneficiaries of the VAT Reimbursement Program will be the economic agents who suffered losses of over 50 percent of agricultural production, as a result of the natural calamities produced in 2022 or the embargo imposed by the Russian Federation on the import of vegetable production from the Republic of Moldova. The purpose of the project is to reduce the impact of natural calamities, as well as the impact of price increases on economic agents in the field of agriculture and the food industry. The project will be examined today in the second reading. Also today, the legislators are to approve the National Program for the recovery of criminal assets for the years 2023-2027 and the Action Plan regarding the implementation of this program.
