Satoshi begins Eurovision Song Contest 2026 rehearsals; Moldova unveils its show
The representative from the Republic of Moldova, Satoshi, has taken the stage at Eurovision 2026 in Vienna, where he has begun rehearsals for his song "Viva, Moldova!" The artist is focusing on creating an energetic performance that blends modern sounds with elements inspired by Moldovan folklore, all aimed at captivating the European audience.

These days are focused on technical rehearsals, lighting, and choreography, with every detail being refined for the semifinal show on May 12th.

Satoshi will perform in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest, organized on May 12. He will compete for a spot in the grand final scheduled for May 16.
Organizers are promising a spectacular edition, and Satoshi, representing the Republic of Moldova, hopes to impress the European audience with his energy and the stage concept he has prepared for the contest.
Satoshi will represent Moldova with the song "Viva, Moldova!" after receiving the maximum score from both the jury and the audience in the National Final organized by the "Teleradio-Moldova" Company.
Moldova will open the first semi-final, which also features performances from Georgia, Portugal, Croatia, Sweden, Finland, Greece, Montenegro, Estonia, San Marino, Poland, Belgium, Lithuania, Serbia, and Israel.
The second semi-final will take place on May 14, and the grand final of the 70th Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled for May 16, 2026.
The top 10 countries from each semi-final will qualify for the final based on a combined vote from the public and national juries.
This year marks Moldova's 20th participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, which, in 2026, will celebrate its 70th anniversary since the first edition in 1956 in Switzerland. Over the decades, Eurovision has become one of the most-watched music events globally, attracting hundreds of millions of viewers every year.
All performances will begin at 22:00 Moldovan time and will be broadcast live on Moldova 1.
