Top seven moldovan products exported to the European Union in 2022
The European Union remains the main commercial partner of the Republic of Moldova, with Moldovan products gaining an increasingly solid place on the shelves of European stores. The delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Moldova presented a list of the most popular Moldovan products on the EU market.
The leader in the top of the products exported to the European Union market are electric cars and electrical appliances. The total value of the export amounts, in this case, to over 510 million dollars. The majority of Moldovan products in the EU also include oilseeds and fruits ($317.5 million or twice as much as in 2021) and vegetable fats and oils ($285.8 million, i.e. 62% more). In 2022, our country supplied the European Union with cereals worth a total of almost 254 million dollars and clothing and accessories worth about 200 million dollars. At the same time, during the previous year, the Republic of Moldova exported to the EU fruits and vegetables in a total value of about 144 million dollars and furniture, in a total value of about 143 million dollars.
