Satoshi after Eurovision qualification: “We will represent the country with dignity”

"We are very happy". This was Satoshi's first reaction after the Republic of Moldova qualified for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The artist says that the audience's reactions and the support received after the performance in Vienna exceeded all the team's expectations.

"We are extremely happy because the warmth from the audience and their intense reactions have exceeded our expectations. This overwhelming support truly makes us happy. We will continue to represent our country with dignity in the final; we will not give up and will fight until the end. We need your support from everywhere. Together, we are mobilizing and moving mountains. Moldova is on duty—Viva Moldova!" declared Satoshi for Moldova 1.

We would like to highlight that the Republic of Moldova has qualified for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 after successfully advancing from the first semi-final held on May 12 in Vienna. The country's representative, Satoshi, opened the contest with the song "Viva, Moldova!" and secured one of the ten available spots in the grand final on May 16.

Alongside the Republic of Moldova, the countries that qualified for the final are Greece, Finland, Belgium, Sweden, Israel, Serbia, Croatia, Lithuania, and Poland.

The second semi-final is scheduled for May 14 and will feature competitors from Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Romania, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, France, Armenia, Switzerland, Cyprus, Austria, Latvia, Denmark, Australia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Albania, Malta, and Norway.
