Japan supports primary healthcare in Moldova: Hrușova Health Center equipped with modern medical equipment

The Health Center in Hrușova, Criuleni district, was provided with modern medical equipment, thanks to a grant from the Government of Japan. This investment, made through the "Kusanone" Program, totals 16,558 dollars.
The funds were used to purchase five essential medical units to enhance disease prevention and improve diagnostics.
“Thanks to this new equipment, medical examinations have become more accessible, efficient, and less stressful for patients. We believe this standard of access to medical services should be guaranteed for everyone,” stated Kazuyuki Takeuchi, the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Moldova, during the project completion ceremony held on May 15.
The event was also attended by employees of the Hrusova Health Center, the mayor of the town, Pavel Roșca, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Andrei Românceanu, and Alexandru Cartin, the president of the Criuleni district.
The Kusanone Human Security Grants Program has been active in the Republic of Moldova since 2008.
To date, Japan has financed 97 projects in the fields of education, health, and public services, totaling approximately $8 million.
Recently, Ambassador Kazuyuki Takeuchi stated in an interview that Japan's projects in the Republic of Moldova have helped establish a sustainable foundation for development.
He also noted that Japanese investments will continue to focus on essential human needs, such as health, education, and social services, which contribute to a healthy and stable society in the long term.
